Carolyn is a therapist trainer and role model I met years ago at a Francie White eating disorders training in Santa Barbara for women. As a recovered anorexic herself, Carolyn has first hand experience in helping others recover. A long-time therapist, she began a special residential treatment center called Monte Nido in California. If you can' be there, or train with Carolyn, this excellent book provides critical information on how to recognize and treat various eating disorders, as well as how to choose the best therapists and nutritionists. Another favorite book I like of hers is, Your Dieting Daughter.
