Here's
Alice!
How
many people do you know who have backpacked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon at
night, with bats whizzing by and scorpions lurking about? Or packed through wild bear and buffalo back country at Yellowstone
National Park? Or scuba dived in
the pristine turquoise Caribbean sea at 60-100 feet with manta rays &
black-tipped sharks circling nearby? Who
do you know who has bicycled 50 miles in the dusty plains of Texas in the heat
of August? Or who thinks a three
day Desert Survival course searching for water, snakes, and edible cactus at the
Big Bend Ranch on the Texas/Mexican border is a fun way to spend a vacation?
Well, get ready to meet Alice Baland, an energetic Texas woman who has
done all these things and more!
